Saronic Islands
This group of islands that stretches from the coast of Piraeus to the mouth of the Gulf Argolic, includes about 88 islands of which only eleven are inhabited and only six in a relevant way.Islands that have always been part of Greek history in both ancient times and in modern ones. All can be reached from Piraeus from 15 minutes to two hours to Salamis farthest Spetses hydrofoil.Islands are covered with groves of lemons, pistachio and pine trees from which leap out picturesque villages surrounded by nature. The picturesque houses, lively marinas and numerous islands bouzoukia make them suitable for a pleasant stay.But all have the common denominator the seafaring vocation, now supplanted by the development of tourism.
